What can I do on the Private Chat tab?

Here, you will see a list of private messages that you have sent or have been sent to you. You can tap on the arrow button to the right of the message to see the full thread of the conversation. You can tap the "Enter Text" box at the bottom of the screen to write a message.

You can also tap the "Disable PM" button at the top to bring up a prompt. As it explains, you can confirm this to make it so you can no longer send or receive private messages. After tapping the "OK" button and activating this feature, you can reenable private messages by tapping the "Enable" button and then tap "OK".
